“Digital hairdressing”

Portfolio Building Course

This course is for beauty professionals who want their work to live not only in the salon but also online. A strong portfolio today is not just about “before and after” photos. It is about creating stories through images and videos that reflect your vision and speak for your style.

Over the last twelve years we organized more than 1500 photo shoots and trained hundreds of stylists. What we learned is that you don’t need a Hollywood production to get powerful results. With the right idea, simple tools, and smart use of technology, you can create content that works.

In the course we go through the whole process: from developing ideas and styling shoots, to working with models, to basic photo and video production. We explore how to use smartphones and cameras, how to set light, and how to create content that feels alive. We also talk about AI as a new tool — not as a replacement, but as something that can help you test concepts, speed up editing, and sharpen your creative process.

It’s called “Digital Hairdressing” because our work now lives in feeds, portfolios, and digital archives. If you want your craft to be visible, you need to learn how to use these tools consciously. This course is about that..

about  School

Emotional hairdressing School By Hairfcker was launched in 2012 with the primary goal of training our in-house stylists and teaching them the Emotional Hairdressing methodology developed by the project's founders, Kirill Hairfucker and Maria Klass. Over the years, we have refined and adapted the program to various needs, transforming it into a flexible framework. Each topic can be tailored to specific requests and tasks, fitting into any format—from a two-hour inspiring presentation to an in-depth month-long training, with the complete program spanning 1.5 years.

  • At Hairfcker School, we continue to evolve and adapt, ensuring that our training programs remain dynamic, relevant, and tailored to the specific needs and goals of our students and clients.

Emotional Hairdressing is a hairstyling methodology rooted in emotional intelligence and an individualized approach. We believe that a hairstyle is not just an accessory—it's a substance charged with energy capable of changing a person's life. Our philosophy holds that a person's appearance should harmonize with their inner world; that one's image is a means of communication with others, and the language of appearance should be understandable to both the stylist and the client. To achieve this, we employ our developed diagnostic system based on archetypes, allowing us to understand and anticipate the profound needs of our clients. This enables us to create a multitude of unique and creative works, bringing happiness to our clients and fostering openness to the world and change.

We also believe that the process of crafting an image is equally as important as the result. Therefore, a visit to our salon is not only about the outcome but also an engaging, interactive experience with elements of play, performance, and client participation as co-creators.

Through technique, psychology, and collaborative creative processes, we craft a unique salon experience—what we call Emotional Hairdressing. This concept and its practical elements are shared in all our training sessions, irrespective of duration or format.
